Job Description
We are seeking a highly vigilant, reliable, and dedicated Security Guard to join our team on the night shift in Kericho, Kericho County. This critical role involves safeguarding company property, assets, and personnel throughout the night hours, ensuring a secure and safe environment. As a Night Shift Security Guard, you will be the primary line of defense against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other potential threats. Your duties will encompass regular patrols of designated areas, meticulous monitoring of surveillance systems, strict control over access points, and prompt response to any security breaches or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of premises, including buildings, grounds, and sensitive areas, to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems diligently, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or triggered alarms.
- Control access points for vehicles and personnel, verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized individuals enter or exit the property.
- Maintain detailed records of all activities, incidents, visitor logs, and unusual occurrences during the shift.
- Respond effectively to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols and notifying relevant authorities.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees and visitors.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate incident reports for any security-related events or irregularities observed during the night shift.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- Strong observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and basic security technology.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
