Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, ensuring all entry points are secure and identifying potential vulnerabilities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts or suspicious activities.
- Deter illegal activities, vandalism, or disturbances through visible presence and proactive engagement.
- Respond effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols.
- Control access to the facility, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order, safety, and a secure environment for all.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Provide assistance and clear directions to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address serious incidents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar security-related role.
- Excellent observation, vigilance, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and basic security systems.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
