Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, both interior and exterior, to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and deter security breaches.
- Control access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor logs to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Investigate and accurately document all incidents, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all occupants.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed, including directions and information.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to resolve incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, maintaining meticulous records.
- Perform security checks and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar security-related role.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction with diverse individuals.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during emergencies.
- Thorough knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and legal guidelines relevant to security operations.
