As a Security Operations Aide, you will be the frontline defense, responsible for implementing and enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding effectively to any security incidents. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated premises, both internal and external, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, fire, and other security risks.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, promptly reporting any suspicious activities or breaches to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
- Control access to client facilities, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate logs of all persons entering and exiting.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, and security threats, following established protocols and assisting emergency services as needed.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members and management to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct routine checks on security equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security role (minimum 2 years).
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and basic security systems.
