Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-Time Security Patrol Officer to join our client’s dynamic team in North Wollongong, Wollongong. This essential role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual committed to upholding safety and security within various premises, including commercial, retail, and residential sites. As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, proactively deterring potential threats and responding effectively to incidents, ensuring peace of mind for our clients and their assets.
Your day will involve performing regular patrols, both on foot and via vehicle, across designated areas. You will be responsible for meticulously monitoring surveillance equipment, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities, and enforcing site-specific security protocols. This isn’t just about presence; it’s about sharp observation, clear communication, and the ability to act decisively under pressure. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and can maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. Building positive relationships with clients, staff, and the public, while upholding the highest standards of integrity, is paramount.
This role demands a commitment to flexible working hours, as security threats don’t adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule. You will play a crucial part in incident management, including initial response to alarms, conducting thorough investigations, and accurate documentation of all occurrences. Joining our team means becoming a vital link in a comprehensive security strategy, contributing directly to the safety and operational continuity of our diverse clientele. If you are a proactive, reliable, and highly observant individual with a passion for security, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of protecting our community.
