Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in our comprehensive training program, absorbing technical knowledge and practical skills related to security system installation and maintenance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot various security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control, alarm systems, and associated low-voltage wiring according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Run and pull cables through conduits, walls, and ceilings in both commercial and residential environments.
- Mount and secure devices such as cameras, sensors, control panels, and readers in optimal locations.
- Test all installed equipment to ensure proper functionality, connectivity, and integration with existing systems.
- Provide basic system training and clear operational instructions to clients, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment used.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and local electrical codes at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate professionally with clients.
- Keep company vehicles and tools organized and well-maintained.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools.
- Strong desire to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in any hands-on trade (e.g., construction, electrical, automotive) is a plus, but not required.
