Job Description
Join the dedicated team at Letšoele Security Services as a Security Watcher and play a crucial role in maintaining safety and order within our assigned premises in Ha Ramokoatsi, Mohale’s Hoek. This vital position involves monitoring and protecting property against theft, vandalism, fire, and other potential threats. As a Security Watcher, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, responsible for observing and reporting any suspicious activities, ensuring the security of all entry and exit points, and providing a visible deterrent to unauthorized access. Your daily routine will include conducting regular patrols, inspecting designated areas, and responding promptly to alarms or disturbances. You will act as the first line of defense, upholding security protocols and assisting in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to ensure security, deter criminal activity, and detect any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control points to identify and respond to potential threats or unauthorized entry.
- Control access to premises, verify credentials, and accurately register visitors and contractors as per established security procedures.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, following predefined protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of property for signs of forced entry, vandalism, fire hazards, or other damage.
- Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all occupants.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintain accurate records of all security-related events.
- Provide assistance to staff, clients, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, offering directions or support when required.
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and security breaches immediately to management or the appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate effectively with emergency services, such as police and fire departments, during critical incidents.
