Are you a highly analytical and results-driven SEM Manager eager to optimize digital advertising campaigns for maximum impact? Career.zycto is seeking a talented and experienced SEM Manager to join our growing team in Lankow, Schwerin. This is a pivotal role where you will take ownership of developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing paid search campaigns across various search engines and platforms. You will be instrumental in driving qualified traffic, increasing conversions, and enhancing our clients’ online visibility and ROI.

As our SEM Manager, you will be a key contributor to our digital marketing success. You will manage substantial budgets, conduct in-depth keyword research, craft compelling ad copy, and continuously monitor campaign performance to identify areas for improvement. This role demands a proactive individual with a keen eye for data, a strong understanding of SEM best practices, and the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable strategies. You will work collaboratively with our content, SEO, and sales teams to ensure integrated and holistic marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid search campaigns (PPC) on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns.
  • Write compelling and high-performing ad copy, headlines, and calls to action.
  • Manage and optimize campaign budgets, bids, and targeting strategies to maximize ROI and achieve client goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., CPC, CPA, ROAS, impression share) using analytics tools.
  • Perform A/B testing on ad creative, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, Content, Design) to ensure alignment and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEM trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage conversion tracking, audience lists, and remarketing strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an SEM Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful PPC campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and Google Analytics.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Experience with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex SEM concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in German and fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads Certification (Search, Display, Shopping).
  • Experience with Bing Ads and other paid advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience in an agency setting managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
