Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum.
- Assist teachers in preparing and adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies under the guidance of teaching staff and SENCOs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment, promoting student independence and self-esteem.
- Support students with personal care needs (if required and appropriate to the role), ensuring dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and contributing to assessments.
- Assist with behavior management strategies, ensuring a calm and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents/carers, teachers, and other professionals.
- Adhere strictly to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all students.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN.
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or Health and Social Care.
- Knowledge of various Special Educational Needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH).
- Basic First Aid certification.
