Are you a seasoned IT security professional with a passion for safeguarding digital assets and ensuring robust identity and access management frameworks? Zimasco (Pvt) Ltd, a leading ferrochrome producer in Zimbabwe, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Access Management Analyst to join our dynamic IT team in Kwekwe. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure access controls across our extensive enterprise systems, applications, and operational technology (OT) environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust access control systems and identity management solutions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of user identities and access privileges, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
  • Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex access-related issues, providing expert-level support and resolution.
  • Develop and refine access management policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate access-related security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to align access controls with operational needs and organizational structure.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on best practices in access management.
  • Evaluate new IAM technologies and recommend solutions to enhance our security posture and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or IT Security roles.
  • Proven experience with IAM platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint).
  • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices (e.g., RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience with SAP security and access management in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of OT (Operational Technology) security principles and practices.
