Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Business Process Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kwekwe, Midlands Province. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices across various departments within Zimasco. As a Senior Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for meticulously analyzing, documenting, and optimizing complex business processes to identify areas for improvement, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. You will lead initiatives to redesign processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, technological capabilities, and regulatory requirements specific to the mining and smelting sector. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, documentation, and optimization of complex business processes across various departments.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within existing workflows.
- Develop and implement robust process improvement strategies and solutions, utilizing methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and BPMN.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and gain consensus on proposed changes.
- Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to clearly illustrate current and future state processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support process improvements.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials for new processes to ensure smooth adoption and user proficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, providing post-implementation support and adjustments.
- Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence throughout the organization.
- Ensure all process improvements comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis or a similar role.
- Proven experience with process mapping, re-engineering, and optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Aris).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation and optimization.
