Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Ikosi, Kosofe. This is a pivotal role for an individual who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and operational efficiency. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions, performing in-depth analysis, and presenting findings to stakeholders across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex data analysis projects from conception to completion, identifying trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using various BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, product) to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Design and implement data models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Perform A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL and other scripting languages.
- Proactively identify data quality issues and work to resolve them, ensuring data governance standards are met.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Mentor junior data analysts, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and analytical techniques.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and understanding of various statistical methods.
- Experience with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
