Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert IT consulting services to regional management and staff, aligning technology solutions with business goals.
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of new IT systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure.
- Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies and roadmaps for the region, focusing on efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Oversee IT project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined specifications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current IT systems, identifying vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Advise on IT governance, risk management, and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., banking sector specific).
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance IT literacy and adoption of new technologies among staff.
- Evaluate and recommend technology vendors, solutions, and best practices to support the bank's operational needs.
- Act as a key liaison between regional business units and central IT departments.
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide high-level technical support when required.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in IT strategy development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, core banking platforms, and financial technologies (FinTech).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
