CBZ Bank is seeking an accomplished Senior Performance Marketing Lead to join our dynamic marketing team in Chinhoyi. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive performance marketing strategies across paid search (Google Ads), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), display, and other programmatic channels.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital campaigns from conception to execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis, ensuring alignment with KPIs and business objectives.
- Manage significant advertising budgets, continuously optimizing spend for maximum efficiency and return on investment (ROI).
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience segmentation, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to monitor campaign performance, derive actionable insights, and generate detailed reports.
- Implement robust A/B testing frameworks for ad copy, landing pages, creative assets, and targeting strategies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the content and creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives and engaging landing page experiences.
- Mentor and guide junior marketing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in performance marketing, ad tech, and digital advertising.
- Work with product teams to understand new offerings and design marketing strategies to support their launch and adoption.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and platform representatives as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on digital customer acquisition.
- Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Shopping) and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Extensive experience with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Demonstrable track record of managing substantial digital advertising budgets and achieving measurable ROI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
- Excellent understanding of SEO principles and how they integrate with paid marketing efforts.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications (Search, Display, Measurement).
- Experience with other programmatic advertising platforms or demand-side platforms (DSPs).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Leadership or mentorship experience within a marketing team.
