Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of residential support workers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, closely monitoring resident progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Provide direct support and intervention in complex resident situations, ensuring de-escalation and resolution.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and ongoing training sessions to enhance team performance and professional development.
- Manage staff rotas, allocate duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including incident reports, daily logs, and care plan documentation.
- Liaise effectively with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other external agencies.
- Ensure the physical environment of the residence is safe, clean, and conducive to resident well-being.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency support as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential care setting.
