Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, assess pricing impacts, and analyze sales performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue trends, market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Perform variance analysis, explaining deviations from budget and forecast, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing revenue performance, key drivers, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new product launches, market expansions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of revenue reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, specifically pertaining to revenue targets and assumptions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all revenue-related reporting and systems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in revenue analysis, financial analysis, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Experience with financial reporting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
