Job Description
Symptai Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Mineral Heights, May Pen. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions for our diverse client base. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you will be responsible for driving key aspects of the software development lifecycle, from architectural decisions to code reviews and mentorship of junior developers. You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other technical leads to translate complex business requirements into high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications.
- Architect scalable and secure solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the team.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their growth and skill development.

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/Node.js).
- Strong understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core).
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
