Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Integrator to join our innovative technology team at Unki Mine. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions across our diverse operational and business systems. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity between critical platforms, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and various other specialized applications essential for our mining operations. As a Senior Systems Integrator, you will be responsible for defining integration strategies, architecting scalable and secure solutions, and troubleshooting complex integration challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operational Technology (OT), and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, analyze existing systems, and recommend optimal integration approaches. This role requires not only strong technical acumen but also excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor junior team members and drive projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable integration solutions using various integration patterns, tools, and technologies.
  • Lead technical discovery and analysis sessions to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and integration designs.
  • Architect, configure, and maintain integration platforms and middleware solutions (e.g., ETL tools, API gateways, message brokers).
  • Develop and manage APIs (REST, SOAP) to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange between disparate systems.
  • Collaborate with internal IT, OT, and business teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery and system interoperability.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of integration solutions to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior integrators and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
  • Document integration architectures, technical specifications, data mappings, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor integrated systems for issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging integration technologies, industry trends, and security best practices to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration, software development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with enterprise integration patterns and architectures (e.g., message queues, service buses, publish-subscribe).
  • Strong experience with API design, development, and management (RESTful, SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major integration platform/middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Kafka, SAP PI/PO, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, AWS Integration Services).
  • Solid understanding of various data formats (XML, JSON, CSV) and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and writing complex queries.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certifications in relevant integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Integration Engineer).
  • Experience with SCADA, MES, or other Operational Technology (OT) systems integration in an industrial or mining environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices in integration.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git) for integration development.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, particularly in a mining context.
