Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Optimization Support Specialist to join our growing team in Laval-des-Rapides. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our SEO strategies, ensuring our clients achieve top search engine rankings and maximum online visibility. You’ll work closely with our Senior SEO Specialists and digital marketing teams to implement technical SEO improvements, conduct keyword research, monitor performance metrics, and assist with content optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms and new content opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Support the implementation of technical SEO recommendations, including site audits, crawlability, indexability, and mobile optimization.
- Help optimize on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and image alt text.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new and existing content.
- Identify and resolve basic SEO issues and contribute to developing solutions for more complex problems.
- Prepare regular performance reports, translating data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Assist with competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in client markets.
- Provide administrative support to the SEO team as needed, including scheduling and documentation.
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in an SEO-focused role or related digital marketing position.
- Solid understanding of core SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is a strong asset).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
