Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon their arrival, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations with enthusiasm.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process payments using POS systems, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as alcohol service laws.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency is essential, other languages are an asset).
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders.
