Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally, initiating the service process and documenting vehicle concerns.
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle walk-arounds to identify and accurately record service and repair needs.
  • Clearly explain recommended services, costs, and timelines to customers, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring effective communication of repair details and progress.
  • Prepare accurate repair orders, including parts, labor, and pricing, maintaining meticulous paperwork.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle models, service procedures, warranty policies, and automotive technology.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to build rapport and trust
  • Proficiency in automotive service software and CRM systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Solid understanding of basic automotive mechanics and vehicle systems
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent
  • Experience with specific dealer management systems (DMS) such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds
  • Previous experience in a sales or upselling role within the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in German language (verbal and written)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or a related field
