My Wedding Day, a leading event and decor company in Jeffreys Bay, is seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Set Designer to join our dynamic creative team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possesses a proven track record in conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually stunning sets and decor for a diverse range of events.

As our Set Designer, you will be the driving force behind the aesthetic realization of our clients’ dreams. You will collaborate closely with clients, event planners, and our production team from initial concept development through to final installation. Your role will encompass everything from interpreting client briefs and developing creative design proposals to sourcing materials, managing budgets, and overseeing the on-site setup and dismantle of intricate decor elements. We are looking for someone who can not only design beautiful spaces but also understand the practicalities of production, ensuring designs are feasible, budget-conscious, and spectacular.

You will be instrumental in pushing the boundaries of traditional event decor, introducing fresh ideas, innovative materials, and cutting-edge design techniques. This role requires a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in scenic design, spatial planning, lighting integration, and prop styling. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous planner, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on problem-solver capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity. If you are ready to leave your artistic footprint on unforgettable events in Jeffreys Bay and beyond, we encourage you to apply. We foster a supportive culture that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning, offering you the platform to truly excel and innovate in the world of event design.
