Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., single needle, overlock, buttonhole) to assemble garment components accurately.
- Prepare fabric pieces for sewing, including cutting, trimming, and pairing according to specifications.
- Inspect finished garments for quality control, identifying and rectifying any defects or inconsistencies.
- Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting, such as changing needles and adjusting tension.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe workstation, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist senior sewers and production staff with various tasks as needed, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Read and interpret sewing patterns, diagrams, and production orders accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and completed tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
