Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure, mark, and cut various fabrics and materials according to patterns and specifications.
  • Prepare fabric pieces for sewing by matching, pinning, basting, and fusing as required.
  • Inspect materials for defects, ensuring only high-quality pieces proceed to the sewing stage.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of fabrics, notions, and supplies.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of cutting equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with sewers and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform quality checks on prepared components to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Report any material shortages or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with fabric measurement and cutting techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision.
