Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and configurations.
  • Assist in the cutting, bending, forming, and shaping of sheet metal components using various hand and power tools.
  • Help assemble and install sheet metal products, including ducts, panels, and frames.
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on sheet metal according to drawings or templates.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors on various projects.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
