Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of domestic and international shipments, including booking, scheduling, and tracking.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
- Monitor shipment statuses, proactively identify potential delays or issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international shipping regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, or claims in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all shipping activities and related documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice and updates on shipment progress.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Shipping Agent, Freight Forwarder, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
