Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment, ensuring items are securely protected and meet quality standards.
- Verify outgoing shipments against order forms, invoices, and other documentation for accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and other necessary documentation using internal systems.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of all packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts, organization, and placement of goods.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., warehouse, customer service) and external carriers.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or issues with shipments immediately to a supervisor.
- Learn and safely operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, after receiving proper training.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to shipping and logistics.
