Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers warmly upon their entry, offering assistance and guidance.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert product information and recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and shelves are stocked.
  • Assist with merchandising efforts, including setting up displays, arranging products, and ensuring promotional materials are current.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and report any discrepancies or low stock items to management.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting special offers or loyalty programs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and security.
  • Stay informed about new products, promotions, and company initiatives to better serve customers.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
