Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes (sections, templates, snippets) using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate and configure Shopify apps to extend store functionality and improve user experience.
- Optimize Shopify store performance, including page load times, image optimization, and overall site speed.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure seamless functionality across all devices.
- Conduct thorough testing of all implemented features and functionalities to ensure quality and bug-free delivery.
- Provide technical consultation and support to clients on Shopify best practices and potential solutions.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate design mockups and business requirements into functional Shopify solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and e-commerce best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify platform development and administration.
- Strong command of Liquid templating language.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, React/Vue.js a plus).
- Experience with Shopify API integrations (REST, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Demonstrable experience in theme customization and development from scratch.
