Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes from scratch or by modifying existing themes.
- Integrate and configure third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify store functionality.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and search engine visibility (SEO).
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Shopify functionalities and integrations.
- Provide expert consultation and strategic recommendations to clients on Shopify best practices, UI/UX, and e-commerce strategies.
- Manage project timelines, communicate progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Perform data migrations, store setups, and product imports with precision.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, features, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Shopify Developer or Expert.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify API (Storefront API, Admin API).
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with headless Shopify setups (e.g., using React, Vue, Next.js).
