Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Car Wrap Installer to join our dynamic team in Shurugwi, Midlands Province. As a Car Wrap Installer, you will be responsible for the precise application of vinyl wraps and graphics onto a variety of vehicles, ensuring flawless finishes that meet our high-quality standards and exceed client expectations.
Your role will involve everything from initial vehicle preparation, including cleaning and surface treatment, to the intricate process of cutting, aligning, and applying vinyl films. We work with a diverse range of clients, from small local businesses to larger corporate fleets, so your ability to adapt to different designs and vehicle types will be crucial. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly, including cleaning, degreasing, and removing existing graphics or components.
- Measure, cut, and apply vinyl wraps and graphics with precision, ensuring proper alignment, minimal waste, and bubble-free finishes.
- Utilize various tools and techniques, including heat guns, squeegees, and knives, to achieve seamless installations on complex vehicle contours.
- Interpret design mock-ups and work orders to accurately execute client specifications.
- Perform quality checks throughout the installation process and conduct final inspections to ensure superior results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as wrinkles, bubbles, or alignment problems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and any potential challenges.
- Assist with inventory management of vinyl materials and tools.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new wrapping techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in car wrapping or large format vinyl application
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision
- Proficiency with application tools (squeegees, heat guns, knives)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently
