Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Contribute to menu planning, development, and costing, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
- Manage kitchen sections effectively, including inventory, ordering, and stock rotation.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, hygienic, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management to maintain profitability.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and F&B Manager to innovate and enhance the dining experience.
- Adhere strictly to dietary requirements and allergen guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Skilled Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie in a reputable kitchen.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative flair and a passion for culinary arts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
