Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of clothing alterations, including hemming, tapering, resizing, and mending, for various garment types.
- Execute complex repairs on damaged clothing, such as re-stitching seams, replacing zippers, patching holes, and reinforcing worn areas.
- Conduct client consultations to understand their specific needs, provide expert advice on possible alterations, and take precise measurements.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Manage workflow efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines for client orders.
- Inspect finished garments to ensure the highest quality standards are met and client specifications are accurately followed.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all clients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Stay updated with new fabric technologies, fashion trends, and tailoring techniques.
