Millennium bim is seeking a dynamic Social Media Aide to join our team in Gondola, Manica Province, on a part-time basis. As a Social Media Aide, you will be instrumental in supporting the execution of our digital marketing strategies, managing our local social media channels, and ensuring our online voice reflects our values and commitment to our clients. You will work closely with our marketing and local branch teams to create engaging content, monitor trends, and interact with our online audience. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and curation of engaging content (text, image, video) for Millennium bim’s local social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Schedule and publish posts according to a content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant communication that resonates with the local Gondola community.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly and professionally, or escalating inquiries when necessary to the appropriate department.
- Support the development and execution of local social media campaigns and initiatives to promote banking products, services, and community events in Gondola.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the Mozambican market and banking sector.
- Collaborate effectively with the marketing department and local branch staff to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all platforms.
- Participate actively in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and digital engagement strategies to enhance our online presence.
- Help maintain an active and positive online presence for Millennium bim within the Gondola community, fostering strong customer relationships.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for business purposes.
- Basic understanding of social media content creation tools (e.g., Canva, simple photo/video editing apps).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in digital marketing, community engagement, and the banking sector.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing social media opportunities and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a diploma or degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Previous experience (even informal, e.g., volunteer work, personal brand management) managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
- Familiarity with the local culture, demographics, and community dynamics of Gondola, Manica Province.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services offered by financial institutions.
- Experience with social media analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
