Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and competitor activities.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, preparing reports on reach, engagement, and sentiment.
  • Support in the planning and execution of online promotions, contests, and interactive campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Research industry-related topics and relevant hashtags to maximize content visibility.
  • Assist with other digital marketing tasks as required to support overall campaign success.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (1+ year) in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sesotho.
  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to create engaging visual content using basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Basic photography and video editing skills.
