Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
 - Create engaging, high-quality content (graphics, videos, GIFs, written posts) optimized for each social media platform.
 - Manage content calendars, scheduling posts to ensure consistent and timely delivery across all channels.
 - Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and actively explore new ways to engage with our target audience.
 - Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
 - Analyze social media performance data, generating reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.
 - Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content consistency and integrate social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
 - Conduct competitive analysis to identify best practices and emerging opportunities within the industry.
 - Maintain a strong understanding of our products and services to accurately represent the brand in all communications.
 
Required Skills
- Proficiency in social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
 - Strong graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator
 - Video editing capabilities (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush)
 - Exceptional copywriting and verbal communication skills in English
 - Demonstrated ability to create engaging, shareable content
 - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
 - Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
 - Deep understanding of various social media platforms and their respective algorithms
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
 - 2+ years of proven experience in social media management or content creation, preferably within the consumer goods or agricultural sector
 - A strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content examples
 - Experience with social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager)
 - Familiarity with the Zimbabwean market and consumer behavior
