Job Description
We are on the hunt for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead our social media initiatives in Mashonaland East. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our overarching brand goals and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller at heart, capable of crafting compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences, drives engagement, and builds brand loyalty for Innscor Africa Limited’s extensive portfolio. You will be instrumental in maintaining our brand’s voice and presence online, monitoring social trends, analyzing performance metrics, and adapting strategies to maximize impact. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful digital presence. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that align with company goals and marketing objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video) for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.).
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Analyze social media campaign performance, track KPIs, and generate reports with actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution.
- Manage and oversee social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
- Identify and engage with influencers and key opinion leaders relevant to our brands.
- Oversee community management, ensuring a positive and engaging online experience for our followers.
- Develop crisis management protocols for social media and respond effectively to negative feedback or reputational threats.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Solid understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite Analytics).
- Exceptional content creation and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience managing social media for a large brand or multiple brands.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Familiarity with the Zimbabwean market and consumer behavior.
- Experience with video content creation and editing.
