Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy aligned with MCB's brand and business goals.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Plan and oversee the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Analyze key metrics and track campaign performance, preparing comprehensive reports on social media engagement, reach, and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies and proactively recommend new strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, PR, product development) to create integrated content strategies and campaigns.
- Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to maximize reach and conversion.
- Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates to amplify our message.
- Oversee online reputation management, responding to reviews and comments professionally and promptly.
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members or internal stakeholders on social media best practices when required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (minimum 4 years).
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies for a brand.
- Expertise in content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling across various social platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Analytics).
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Ability to interpret data, generate reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Creative thinking with an ability to develop innovative and engaging content.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
