Career.zycto is actively seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Software Developer to join our growing team in Hillhead, Glasgow. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design through development, testing, and deployment. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust, performant solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust full-stack web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Develop and maintain database schemas and ensure data integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong back-end development skills with experience in a server-side language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#).
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Demonstrable experience in mobile application development (native iOS/Android or cross-platform like React Native/Flutter).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
