Job Description
We are seeking a talented, proactive, and passionate Software Engineer to join our growing team at Rhumerie de Chamarel Distillery. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for internal business processes, including inventory management, production tracking, sales reporting, and CRM for visitor experiences.
- Maintain and enhance existing digital platforms, including our corporate website and potential visitor engagement applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, sales, marketing, hospitality) to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Implement and maintain robust database systems to support application functionality and ensure data integrity.
- Develop APIs and integrations with third-party tools and services as needed to enhance system capabilities and connectivity.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training to end-users as required to maximize system adoption and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, PHP, Java, C#)
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
