Job Description

Are you a talented Software Engineer seeking a role where your expertise drives real impact, and your work-life balance is genuinely valued? GoDaddy is on the lookout for a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Tempe, Arizona. This isn’t just another coding job; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of millions of small businesses worldwide. We believe in empowering our engineers with the autonomy to manage their schedules, offering flexible time arrangements that allow you to excel professionally while accommodating your personal life.

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and services that are critical to our core product offerings. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, contributing to projects that span across our diverse ecosystem – from domain registration and website builders to e-commerce solutions and marketing tools. We operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, where collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll be a key player in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust, elegant software solutions. Your problem-solving prowess will be put to the test as you tackle intricate technical challenges, optimize system performance, and ensure the reliability and security of our platforms. We foster a culture where ideas are shared openly, feedback is constructive, and every team member has a voice in shaping our products and processes.

We understand that peak productivity doesn’t always fit a rigid 9-to-5 schedule. Our ‘Flexible Time’ model is designed to give you control, whether you need to adjust your start/end times, manage personal appointments, or optimize your workflow based on your natural rhythm. While we encourage regular collaboration at our state-of-the-art Tempe campus to foster team cohesion and innovation, we champion a balance that allows for both dedicated in-office collaboration and focused work-from-home periods. This role offers the best of both worlds: the camaraderie and resources of a vibrant office environment coupled with the flexibility to manage your professional and personal commitments effectively. Join GoDaddy and help us empower everyday entrepreneurs globally, all while enjoying a career that respects your time and talent.
