Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, scope, and deliver new features and improvements.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative development environment.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions and contributing to post-mortem analyses.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making for new and existing systems.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and system performance.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
