Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the product roadmap, vision, and strategy in alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering.
- Translate high-level concepts into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, managing and grooming the product backlog.
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as the primary liaison between business and development teams.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and conduct user research to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience.
- Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
- Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs throughout the product development process.
- Facilitate decision-making and problem-solving within the agile team.
- Drive continuous improvement in product development processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (4+ years) as a Software Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar product management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Experience with user research and data-driven product decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with SaaS products and cloud-based platforms.
- Familiarity with specific industry domains like FinTech, HealthTech, or EduTech.
