Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, track, and retest bugs using defect tracking systems, communicating findings effectively to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide early feedback on testability and potential risks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Set up and maintain test environments and test data as needed.
- Provide clear and concise status updates on testing progress and defect resolution.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and test case management tools.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Basic understanding of SQL queries for database validation.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote-friendly environment.
