Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews, providing valuable input from a quality assurance perspective.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are fully resolved without introducing new regressions.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Work independently and manage testing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and defect metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, performance).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote setting.
