Job Description

Westman Communications Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Trainee to join our dynamic IT team in Brandon. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual test cases across various platforms and environments, identifying and documenting defects.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and ensure testability.
  • Report, track, and retest defects using designated bug tracking systems.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contributing to discussions on project status and quality.
  • Perform basic regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Learn and apply new testing techniques and tools under the guidance of senior QA staff.
