Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability of features.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and new features are implemented.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings within an Agile environment.
  • Provide clear, concise, and detailed bug reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Review product requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to identify complex issues.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, types, and levels (e.g., functional, regression, integration, UAT).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or higher).
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, or mobile application testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment.
