Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide clear and concise bug reports and status updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the resolution of reported issues.
- Conduct usability and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Solid understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
