Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our innovative team in Beaconsfield, Montreal. This critical role demands a professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, designing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs. As an English-speaking Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end architectural design of our software solutions, from conceptualization to deployment, working closely with development teams, project managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architectural vision for enterprise-level software solutions.
- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical designs and architectural blueprints.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to design principles and quality standards.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.
- Research and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate architectural choices.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting with technical proposals and presentations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3-5 years in a Solutions Architect role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless).
- Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services.
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of security best practices in application and infrastructure design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with data architecture, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of French is considered an asset, but not required.
