As a Solutions Architect, you will lead the discovery, definition, and documentation of client requirements, evaluating existing systems and proposing innovative architectural improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable, and secure technical solutions across various platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative architectural enhancements.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts to validate architectural approaches.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for solution development and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
- Assess and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance solution capabilities and efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, data models, and API specifications.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, presenting technical solutions to prospective clients and contributing to proposals.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, performance, and scalability requirements.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect or Lead Architect role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native application development.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, C#) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Deep knowledge of API design principles (REST, GraphQL) and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
